This is an amazing experience, one you will cherish for years! From sunup to sundown the hosts take care of all your needs. The service is top notch, the riding incredible and the location stunning. I have been on 2 tours and would highly recommend it. Good value, great food. Where do I sign up for the next tour?

Dear Joe,
I was on your bike tour to southern France in the fall of 2006 and wanted you to know what a wonderful time I had. You and Blake truly were excellent guides and were thoroughly prepared. I know that you both traveled to the area before and it really paid off for all of us because there were no unexpected surprises when we were out riding.
Staying at one villa the entire time turned out to be an excellent strategy because it eliminated the frequent packing and unpacking so common with other tours. This gave us the opportunity to really explore the area of Provence that we were in. The food and wine is obviously a big feature there and we all got to enjoy the specialties that each small town had to offer.
The rural area that we stayed in was perfect for bicycling. This was my first trip overseas and I wondered prior to leaving how we would be treated. Well, we were treated graciously by everyone from the shopkeepers to the waiters and waitresses (yup!). The motorists also gave us the respect that you could only wish for back home.
The meals we ate at the villa were fantastic. Strolling along the local markets where you and Blake picked up your ingredients for that evening’s meal was a nice routine. Our menu was varied and the results were great – you guys can cook! The coffee every morning that was made to order when we got up made it a very pleasant way to start the day.
All and all, the trip fulfilled everything I dreamed of. I was thoroughly satisfied and will certainly take another one of your tours.
Sincerely,
Bernie Graham

My Mello Velo trips to Italy and France were the (cycling) trips of a lifetime. Joe is the ultimate "host with the MOST", from the morning's first cappucinno (while still in our pjs!), to getting the bike ready to ride, to planning the route (complete with bakery/espresso stops!), to post-ride wine and cheese happy hour, to delicious gourmet dinners. Joe took care of everthing! The only time I lifted a finger was to signal I needed more wine! Riding in Europe is spectactular - challenging to be sure - but Joe is super supportive and encouraging in such a way, that the riding was exhilarating and rewarding too. It was the perfect vacation!
