Reservations with Mello Velo Bike Tours are subject to the following terms and conditions:

Guest Responsibility
Mello Velo will gladly answer questions to help you select a tour or provide you with names of past guests who can describe their experiences with Mello Velo. However, our guests have the responsibility to select a trip most appropriate to their physical abilities and interests, to carefully read all policies, terms & conditions, waivers and pre-departure information before leaving and to be in sufficient good health to undertake the trip.

Deposit
To reserve a spot on a Melo Velo tour a $500/person deposit is required. A reservation will not be considered finalized until this deposit is received and funds have cleared.

Final payment
The balance of your payment is due 90 days prior to the trip's departure date.

Guest Cancellation Policy
If for any reason you have to cancel your trip, the cancellation must be confirmed in writing and signed by the participant on the booking form and the following charges will apply:

Trip Alteration/Cancellation
Mello Velo Bike Tours reserves the right to make accommodations and route modifications which become necessary due to circumstances beyond their control and undertake the responsibility to inform participants as soon as possible.

Mello Velo Bike Tours reserves the right to cancel the trip in which case all payments including the deposit will be refunded. This will constitute full settlement.

Travel Insurance
Participants are responsible for having adequate travel insurance covering accident, personal injury, loss of luggage and cancellation. Mello Velo Bike Tours is not liable for personal injury, death, damage to property or other loss whether arising from accident, cancellation, delays or any other matter beyond our control.

Service Responsibility
Mello Velo will not assume responsibility for any overseas company or person who fails to provide services that have been contracted for any of its tours. (In the case of such an event, alternative services will be sought.) In rare instances, we may ask a guest to switch to another trip from one that has logistical problems or too few participants; we will attempt to notify you at least 60 days before the departure date. We reserve the right to cancel any trip, for any reason, at any time prior to departure. In this case, refund of any payments received constitutes full settlement.
