For many years Mallorca has played host to European professional and amateur cyclists wanting to jump start the season. The climate on this Mediterranean island offers snow-bound athletes the best way to log those serious base miles that muscles crave after a long winter. Come discover Europe's cycling secret - an island made for the cyclist!
  • Beautiful roads with everything from flat terrain, to rolling hills and long climbs, coupled with extremely low automotive traffic. A welcoming 1600 km of roadway cover the island with more than 600km quiet, secondary roads. Excellent road signs and wide shoulders have been added in recent years to promote safe cycling. Joe and Blake state that Mallorca has 2 of the greatest rides they have ever done, the Sa Calobra and the Fromentor, which set Mallorca apart from every other cycling destination.

LODGING
Our accommodations on the island are another example of our pursuit of the highest quality lodging for our guests. Mello Velo has exclusive use of the boutique spa Hotel Cas Comte (www.hotelcascomte.com ) for the entire tour. Located at the foot of the mountains in the tranquil village of Lloseta, Hotel Cas Comte is a converted 18th century country manor house. MEALS
Breakfast and dinner are included in the trip cost and will be prepared by the kitchen of Hotel Cas Comte. The hotel is well accustomed to preparing delicious and healthy meals, many of which we have enjoyed on past trips to Mallorca. As we will be riding much of the day, we will break and have lunch at a café on road.
